New Tree of Peace

A new Tree of Peace was dedicated at a special ceremony in the plaza of the Al Quds University School of Dentistry.

The tree has always been an important spiritual symbol in many cultures. It often symbolizes immortality and eternal life. It also symbolizes the unity of all life, and the struggle of order and growth against chaos and disintegration. This new Tree of Peace placed at the entrance of the Al Quds University School of Dentistry furthers the belief that we must all stand united and learn tolerance for one another.

This new sculpture at Al Quds University School of Dentistry will link the existing Tree of Peace sculptures at the dental schools at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona and Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia

“Dedication of this new sculpture represents the goodwill philanthropy inspires. It’s a permanent reminder of Alpha Omega’s core values to advance peace and global health through collaboration between people of all races and religious convictions,” explained US Foundation Vice Chairman Allen Finkelstein.

The dedication occurred during the fifth Middle East Symposium in Dental Medicine and celebration of Hebrew University’s 60th anniversary.
