Joesph B. Breitman DMD, MS, FACP

Dr. Joesph Breitman is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. Graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1977, he completed his residency in Prosthodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Breitman furthered his education by earning a post-doctoral master’s in dental Materials and Oral Biology from Temple University School of Dentistry and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Elsmere, Delaware. For the past 45 years, Dr. Breitman has maintained a practice limited to Prosthodontics in Philadelphia. Currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Kornberg School of Dentistry, he continues to contribute to dental education and mentor the next generation of professionals.

Dr. Breitman has been honored with the Private Practice Award from the American College of
Prosthodontists for outstanding contributions to the specialty, a Fellowship in the International College of Dentists, appointed the Co-Chair for the Scope of Practice Committee of the American College of Prosthodontists, and a Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Allen Finkelstein DDS

Bedford HealthCare Solutions

Dr. Allen L. Finkelstein, DDS, is the Chief Executive Officer of Bedford HealthCare Solutions and the former Chief Dental Officer of AmeriChoice/United Health Group. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.   

Dr. Finkelstein is a former Post Preventive Dental Officer at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, receiving the Army Commendation medal for the Preventive Dental Program developed to reduce caries and emergencies for the US Army Dental Corp during the Vietnam War. He also served on the Forensic Staff at the New York City Medical Examiners Office after the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center and is currently an advisor to the New City Department of Health for the New York Cares Health Improvement Program.

Other appointments held by Dr. Finkelstein include being an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at New York University, College of Dentistry, Senior Advisor for Oral Health Strategies, adjunct facility member of the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health AT Still University, a member of the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine Leadership Council, a member of the Global Dental School Alliance and a member of the Visitor’s Board of the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. Dr Finkelstein has testified before the Domestic Policy Subcommittee for Government Reform in the United States House of Representatives about “Evaluating Pediatric Dental Care under Medicaid” and advised Congressman Elijah Cummings of Maryland on the Child Health Insurance Plan Reform Act on dental coverage.

In 2009, Dr. Finkelstein was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the A.T. Still University.  In 2011 he was awarded the Dr. Harry Strusser Memorial Award from New York University, College of Dentistry. He is board certified and is licensed to practice dentistry in New York and New Jersey. He currently maintains a dental practice specializing in Periodontal Prosthesis located in Great Neck, New York.

Jeff Goldsmith DDS, MS

Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics

Dr. Jeff Goldsmith, DDS, MS, earned multiple degrees from the University of North Carolina (UNC): Bachelor of Science (BS), Dental Degree (DDS), UNC Orthodontic Residency, and a Master’s in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Goldsmith’s commitment to excellence in orthodontics is evident through his achievement of American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Board Certification, a prestigious recognition setting high standards for patient care and promoting excellence in the field. He is a Diplomat of the ABO, demonstrating his dedication to the highest level of orthodontic proficiency.

In 2015, Dr. Goldsmith founded the AO chapter at the University of North Carolina – Adams School of Dentistry, showcasing his commitment to advancing orthodontic education. His dedication to community service led him on a mission to Mbale, Uganda, in 2016, where he provided free dental care to the Jewish Abayudaya community.

Dr. Goldsmith serves on the boards of various local organizations, including the Charlotte Dental Society, Levine Jewish Community Center, and Charlotte Jewish Preschool. He is an enthusiastic participant in several dental associations, such as the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, North Carolina Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and North Carolina Dental Society.

Peter J. Klein

Mr. Peter J. Klein is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of ALINE Wealth. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®), Chartered Advisor in and Philanthropy (CAP®). 

Peter also received the Chartered SRI Counselor designation (CSRIC®) as part of a commitment to helping clients navigate ESG and SRI investing.

Mr. Klein was named to Forbes’ list of the Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in New York from 2020-2023. Daniel Nazarian DMD

Dr. Daniel Nazarian’s professional journey seamlessly integrates academia, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. With over two decades of expertise in periodontology, he embarked on angel investing in 2008, with a keen focus on nurturing Israeli and US startup companies. As a Managing Member at Transolam LLC, Dr. Nazarian curates a diverse investment portfolio, leveraging his insights to drive growth and innovation.

His educational foundation is equally noteworthy, commencing with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Southern California (USC) and culminating in a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University, complemented by a Periodontal Specialty Degree from USC.

Dr. Nazarian’s impact extends beyond investment as he played a pivotal role in establishing a groundbreaking fund in partnership with Tel Aviv University, marking a pioneering initiative to bolster the Israeli startup ecosystem. Allen Ressler DDS

Dr. Allen Ressler, DDS, is a double graduate from New York University (NYU).  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from NYU Stern Business School, specializing in commerce, finance, and accounts, then continued his education by earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors in 1970.  Dr. Ressler completed an intensive general practice residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and was awarded the Samuel Charles Miller Award for his exceptional proficiency in Periodontics.

Since 1971, Dr. Ressler has maintained a longstanding faculty position with Mount Sinai Medical Center, playing a pivotal role in the general practice dental residency program. His instrumental contributions led to his co-directorship of the program from 2002 to 2004. Concurrently, Dr. Ressler actively engaged in teaching oral diagnosis and treatment planning at Miami Children’s Hospital from 1971 to 1981.

Dr. Ressler’s involvement with the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity began in 1966 as a member of the NYU dental school Iota chapter. His unwavering commitment to the fraternity’s mission is exemplified by his holding various officer positions on the Society’s Executive Board. In 1997, Dr. Ressler joined the Alpha Omega US Foundation board.  In 2010, Dr. Ressler served as Secretary of the Foundation and was elected Chairman between 2018 to 2019.

In addition, Dr. Ressler is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Society, and Miami Beach and North Dade Dental Societies. He has served as a past delegate to the Florida Dental Association, a past Board Examiner for the Florida Board of Dentistry, and a past Miami Beach Dental Society president. Additionally, Dr. Ressler is a Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation member.

Marc Rothman DMD

Alpha Omega Foundation US Board Chairman

Dr. Marc Rothman, DMD, practices Oral & Maxillofacial surgery in the greater Philadelphia area. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a degree in economics, and earned his dental degree from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry where he received the award for outstanding student in Oral Surgery. He completed his postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Howard University Hospital and the District of Columbia General Hospital, both in Washington, DC. Dr. Rothman finished his training with an advanced fellowship in orthognathic surgery and TMJ surgery at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St Louis, Missouri.

He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesia, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery and of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Rothman has authored several notable publications. He is also a recognized international lecturer and serves as the chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery and senior attending at the Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and holds a faculty position at the Kornberg School of Dental medicine at Temple University. Dr. Rothman serves on the advisory board of Tel Aviv University’s dental school. He is a Governor of Tel Aviv University and a member of the Executive Board of the American Friends of Tel Aviv University. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Dental Society and a founder of its Global Oral Health Initiative. He also serves on the board of trustees of Congregation Beth Sholom in Elkins Park, PA.

Some of his major accomplishments include chairing an international campaign for the rebuilding of the Rothstein-Williamowsky post graduate dental clinics at Tel Aviv University. He is a recipient of a special recognition award from the Shils Entrepreneurial Fund and recipient of the Temple University Dental Alumni Association community service award.

Michael Spektor DDS

Dr. Spektor began his philanthropic involvement with various dental and community organizations as early as the 1970s when he joined the Alpha Omega International Dental Society as a student. Dr. Spektor was elected as the Society’s International President in 2012 and became Chairman of the Board of the Alpha Omega Foundation US between 2019 to 2022. Additionally, he has contributed to the dental community through his editorial role at the Seattle-King Dental Journal in 1984-85 and served on the boards of the Seattle-King Dental Society and the Washington State Dental Association Communications and Marketing Committee.

Beyond his dental commitments, Dr. Spektor has demonstrated a solid commitment to community service and leadership. He served as President of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle for two years. He was a member of the National Board of the United Jewish Communities. Notably, and held the position of Vice Chair of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee for Washington State and contributed to the Washington State Holocaust Resource Center, focusing on holocaust education for grades 6-12.

Dr. Spektor’s leadership shone through during the challenging times of the global COVID-19 pandemic. He tirelessly worked to ensure the Foundation continued its mission of impacting oral health worldwide. He spearheaded a fundraising campaign for the Radiology Room in the new Robert I. Schattner Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities and the Hadassah-Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, he raised scholarship funds for students affected by the pandemic at Tel Aviv University and Hadassah – Hebrew University Schools of Dental Medicine. Dr. Spektor’s unwavering leadership was instrumental in navigating the Foundation through this turbulent historical period, ensuring its continued success and impact.

Stefan I. Stefanović MHBA, GCCHSL, OSS, HGGO

Full professor, University of Heidelberg, Mannheim Medical Faculty Germany

Prof. Dr. med. Stefan I. Stefanović, MHBA, GCCHSL, OSS, HGGO, is a Serbian, German,
and Swiss gynecologist, breast cancer researcher and healthcare manager.
Stefanović is a gynecologist and obstetrician with board certifications in Germany and
Switzerland, clinically experienced in women’s health including breast cancer, assisted
reproduction, fertility-preserving ovarian and uterine laparoscopic surgery, minimally
invasive techniques. Prof. Dr. Stefanović currently serves as Director of strategic
development of Magna Plus private hospital.

His research is focused on:
Cluster 1: Translational and clinical research: oncology of breast cancer, focused on early
detection of tumor biomarker conversion, tumor heterogeneity and clonal evolution between early and metastatic breast cancer aiming at development of prognostic and predictive markers for individualized cancer therapy development, including liquid biopsy based on circulating tumor cells, cell-free tumor DNA and disseminated tumor cells.

Cluster 2: Artificial intelligence and digital health solutions for inpatient and outpatient treatment including development of smart systems based on artificial intelligence machine learning models for autonomous prediction for in-patient bed, ward and department management as well as implementation of ePRO – electronic patient reported outcomes for early side effects recognition in breast cancer treatment including development of interventional early-response strategies aiming at quality-of-life improvement and prevention of adverse events (CTC-AE).

He earned his medical degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, with internships and fellowships in Zurich and Jerusalem; holds a Master of Health Business Administration degree from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany; attended the executive Strategy for Health Care Delivery program at Harvard Business School; received his doctorate and post-doctoral habilitation from the University of Heidelberg
and is currently a full professor, non-tenured, at the University of Heidelberg, Mannheim Medical Faculty.

He is the Heir apparent to the headship of the House of Stefanović-Leštari bearing the Grand cordon of the Order of the House of Stefanović-Leštari and a Grand officer of the Order of the allied House of Grujić. Prof. Dr. Stefanović is a member of the Serbian Royal Household, appointed as auxiliary herald of the Royal House of Karadjordjević of Serbia and Yugoslavia, an Officer of the Serbian Royal Order of St. Sava and has received the Medal of the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III.

Rada Sumareva DMD

CEO and Co-Foundaer of Ziphycare

Dr. Rada Sumareva is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, and is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ziphcare.

Dr. Sumareva earned her undergraduate degree from the New York University College of Arts and Science, graduated with honors, and completed a residency in periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Her research in oral cancer and immunobiology of periodontal disease yielded publications and presentations at national and local dental meetings. Dr. Sumareva was also nominated and attended the Wexner Heritage Program.

She is a co-founder and president of the Russian-Speaking American Dental Association and the Building Bridges Conference, which addresses the wide range of problems of people with disabilities — from access to health care to educational and employment opportunities — as well as a NY ambassador and a co-founding member of the Alpha Omega/Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program.

Beyond her clinical practice and academic pursuits, Dr. Sumareva is the CEO and co-founder of Ziphycare, a digital health company with a mission to provide access to quality health care for all. She serves on the boards of JCRC-New York and UJA-Federation, the Executive Board of AFTAU, and the Tel Aviv University Board of Governors. She is a co-founder and president of the Russian-Speaking American Dental Association, a co-founding member of the Alpha Omega/Henry Schein Cares Holocaust Survivors Oral Health Program, and a co-founder of the inclusion advocacy conference Building Bridges.
