Letter from the Chair of the Board | |
| |
Dear Friends,
As we close another successful fiscal year, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your generosity, your partnership, and your belief in the mission of the Alpha Omega US Dental Foundation.
This past year reminded us that when we come together with a shared purpose, we can make a meaningful difference. We continued to support programs that improve lives through education, humanitarian relief, mental health services, and access to quality dental care.
One of our most meaningful accomplishments was launching Renewing Minds, Restoring Hope, providing vital psychological support to Israeli dental students, faculty, and professionals as they navigate the ongoing effects of war and trauma.
We also helped advance the rebuilding of the dental clinic in Kibbutz Be'eri, bringing hope and essential dental services back to a community deeply affected by the events of October 7.
Our commitment to education remains at the heart of everything we do. Through the Allen Finkelstein Scholarship Program, we recognized outstanding dental students in the United States and Israel while continuing to support research, educational innovation, and international collaboration that will strengthen our profession for years to come.
None of this would be possible without you. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our Board, volunteers, chapters, and partners, the Foundation awarded more than $178,000 in grants this year.
At the same time, we continued to strengthen the Foundation's financial position, with assets now exceeding $2.5 million, ensuring that we remain a strong and sustainable resource for the future. While we are proud of what we have accomplished together, our work is far from finished.
The needs continue to evolve, and so must we. In the coming year, we will continue investing in programs that heal, educate, and inspire while expanding opportunities to make an even greater impact throughout Israel, North America, and beyond.
Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey. Your generosity and commitment allow us to transform compassion into action and hope into lasting change. Together, we are strengthening our profession, supporting those in need, and building a legacy that will benefit generations to come. In appreciation, |
Marc Rothman Chair Alpha Omega US Dental Foundation |
